Red Cross insignia.  Silver-gilt and enamel shield-shaped badge; the face with silver-gilt-edged radiant white enamel, a red enamel Geneva (Greek) cross centrally; the reverse plain, marked ‘RYRIE STERLING’ and with pin for wear; height 14.71mm (0.58 inch).

Red Cross stickpin.  Stamped white metal and red enamel medallion in the form of a bowl and flame mounted on a stickpin; the face with a red enamel Geneva (Greek) cross on the upper right edge of the bowl; the reverse plain, marked ‘FRANCE’; height of the medallion 24.75mm (0.97 inch), overall height 37.76mm (1.48 inches).

Red Cross insignia.  Lozenge-shaped silvered-edged blue enamel badge; the face with a gilt and white enamel torch centrally, a silvered-edged red enamel Geneva (Greek) cross above, silver letters ‘C H C’ to left, right and below respectively; the reverse plain with maker’s mark of J. L. Bickell of Chelmsford and with pin for wear; height 31.08mm (1.22 inches).

Red Cross stickpin.  White metal Geneva (Greek) cross mounted on a stickpin; the face with a red enamel Geneva (Greek) cross centrally; the reverse dated ‘1944’; mounted on red and white halved ribbons in the form of a decussate Maltese cross; width of the medallion 17.67mm (0.69 inch), overall height 40.93mm (1.61 inches).

The stickpin has the form of a Swiss National Day memorial, especially as it is dated, but has a red cross on a silver ground, rather than the reverse.

Red Cross service bar.  Rectangular gilt and red enamel service bar; the face stippled gilt with a circular central gilt-edged red enamel medallion bearing the figure ‘4’, gilt-edged red enamel Geneva (Greek) crosses to either side; the reverse with maker’s mark ‘?OICO CALCUTTA’, the first letter indistinct and with pin for wear; width 34.44mm (1.35 inches).
