Circular gilt metal badge; the face white enamel with a gilt-edged red enamel Geneva (Greek) cross centrally, circumscribed in gilt letters ‘ + SUOMEN PUNAINEN RISTI + FINLANDS RÖDA KORS’ within a red enamel border; the reverse plain gilt, numbered ‘13536’, with maker’s mark ‘MERKKIKESKUS’ and with pin for wear; slight surface marks, a small chip to the white enamel to the right of the red cross; diameter 22.02mm (0.86 inch).
