Circular bronze medal with laterally pierced ball suspension for ribbon attachment; the face with a circular central medallion bearing a green and brown enamel cedar of Lebanon within a circular ring imposed on crossed swords within a palm wreath; the reverse with an Arabic inscription imposed on a hilly landscape; on original ribbon. The medal was instituted by decree NÂș. 8610 dated 29 January 1962 and is awarded to members of the Internal Security Forces who have been cited for acts of bravery.
