Miniature gilt five-pointed rayed star with ball-tipped finials and with loop and ornate laurel wreath suspension; the face with a circular central gilt-edged white enamel medallion bearing the arms of Chile in gilt and red and blue enamel; the reverse plain; diameter 14.68mm (0.58 inch); on original ribbon with pasador top buckle mounted for wear. The Star was instituted in 1935 and is awarded on completion of 20 years blameless service.
