Miniature octagonal bronze medal with scroll and straight ribbon bar suspension; the face with the pre-2000 arms of South Africa centrally within an octagonal border surrounded by sprigs of laurel; the reverse with the logo of the South African Railway Police Force centrally; diameter 17.99mm (0.71 inch); on original ribbon.
The Medal was instituted in 1980 and awarded to members of the South African Railway Police Force for ten years’ exemplary service. It was discontinued in 1986.
