Silvered bronze medal with eyelet and loop for suspension; the face with the full-length figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, circumscribed above with his name, marked ‘ITALY’ at the base; the reverse with the three-quarter length figure of Saint Anthony holding the Christ child, circumscribed above left with his name, signed with monogram ‘NB’; height 26.08mm (1.02 inch). The medal is of some age.
