Miniature bronze Maltese cross with stylised spruce and laterally-pierced lug for ribbon suspension; the face with an irregular heart-shaped medallion imposed centrally inscribed ‘LV’ with inverted ‘y’s to either side within a stylised spruce border; the reverse plain; diameter 18.42mm (0.72 inch); on original ribbon.
The origin of the Cross is not known; any information would be gratefully received.
