Miniature silver star with thirty-two graduated rays, a loop to the upper reverse for ribbon suspension; the face with a blue enamel Maltese cross imposed centrally bearing a circular central silver-gilt medallion with the Virgin and Child within a ring circumscribed ‘EQ. ORDO S. M. DE BETHLEHEM (Equestrian Order of Saint Mary of Bethlehem); the reverse plain; diameter 19.16mm (0.75 inch); on original ribbon.
The Order seems to have been a private initiative and was in existence in the 1930s but appears to have become defunct.
