Miniature gilt medal with laterally-pierced loop for ribbon suspension; the face with a map of the United Arab Emirates in the form of a stone wall, the emblem of the U.A.E. above left; the reverse with an Arabic circumscription above, dated ‘١٩٧٦/٥/٦’ (6 May 1976) below; diameter 18.45mm (0.73 inch); on original ribbon. The Medal was awarded to members of the armed forces of the constituent states on the occasion of their amalgamation in the creation of the Federal Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates.
