Miniature five-pointed faceted gilt star with eyelet and decorated ribbon bar with the arms of the Republic of Namibia, the reverse with maker’s mark of Spink & Son Ltd, London; the face with a circular central medallion with stippled ground bearing the head of a lion facing left; the reverse plain gilt with the arms of the Republic of Namibia; diameter 21.25mm (0.83 inch); with ribbon.
We have been unable positively to identify this Decoration. The medal is very like the Namibia Defence Force Campaign Medal but lacks the word 'campaign' on the reverse and has a different ribbon.
