Miniature circular cupro-nickel medal on fixed ribbon bar suspension with scales of justice denoting a police award; the face with a Zimbabwe bird on a radiant circular medallion within a ring inscribed ‘LONG AND EXEMPLARY SERVICE’; the reverse with the arms of Zimbabwe; diameter 16.13mm (0.63 inch); on original ribbon. The Medal was instituted in October 1980 to be awarded for fifteen years exemplary service in the Police Force.
