Miniature bronze cross barbée with eyelet for ribbon suspension; the face blackened and stippled with a stylised central snowflake, a gilt arrow pointing outwards on each arm; the reverse engraved ‘RO / 1941-1944 / RvPr’; diameter 18.1mm (0.71 inch); on original ribbon.
The Cross was awarded to members of the Cavalry Regiment who served in the Continuation War between 25 June 1941 and 19 September 1944.
The Regiment consisted of the Hämeen Ratsurykmentti (Häme Cavalry Regiment), the Uudenmaan Rakuunarykmentti (Uusimaa Dragoon Regiment) and Infantry Battalions 1 and 6.
