Miniature tombac cross pattée with eyelet and loop for ribbon suspension; the face with the green enamel and gilt insignia of the Armoured Division imposed centrally, the arms of the cross blackened within a gilt border; the reverse plain black with maker’s mark ‘Velj. S’ for Veljekset Sundqvist of Helsinki; diameter 17.31mm (0.68 inch); on original ribbon with wire top loop for suspension.
The Cross was awarded to qualifying units for participation in the Continuation War between 13 February 1942 and 16 June 1944.
