Miniature silvered tombac cross pattée with eyelet and loop for ribbon suspension; the face with the the blue and yellow enamel insignia of the 12th Division imposed centrally, the arms of the cross blackened; the reverse plain, inscribed ’12 D’ and dated ‘1941-1942’ diameter 17.56mm (0.69 inch); some surface wear th the yellow enamel; on original ribbon.
The Cross was awarded to members of the 12th Division for participation in the Continuation War of 25 June 1941 to 19 September 1944.
The 12th Division was recruited from the Helsinki military district.
