Miniature circular silvered medal with scroll and fixed ribbon bar suspension; the face with the arms of Jamaica centrally, inscribed ‘JAMAICA’ below; the reverse with the arms of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, circumscribed ‘FOR LONG SERVICE & GOOD CONDUCT’; diameter 18.96mm (0.74 inch); on original ribbon.
The Medal was instituted on 17 October 1970 to be awarded to Sub-Officers and Constables with a minimum of eighteen years’ exemplary service.
