Circular silver medal with eyelet for ribbon suspension; the face with the laurel-crowned armoured head and shoulders portrait of King William III facing left, circumscribed ‘THE GLORIOUS & IMMORTANL MEMORY 1690’, signed ‘MOSSOP’ at the base (for the medallist William Mossop of Dublin, 1717-1805); the reverse with the 1714 to 1800 Royal Arms with supporters, circumscribed ‘KING & CONSTITUTION’ above, signed ‘MOSSOP’ at the base; diameter 34.25mm (1.35 inches); weight 19.21 grams (0.68 oz).

The Ticket commemorates the decisive victory of William III of Orange at the Battle of the Boyne on 1 (11) July 1690 that secured Protestant ascendancy in Ireland for the next two centuries.
