Circular bronze medal with eyelet for ribbon suspension; the face with the head of King Vittorio Emanuele III facing left, circumscribed ‘VITTORIO EMAN. III; the reverse with a centaur facing right drawing his bow, inscribed ‘IN BARBARUM’, circumscribed ‘R. ESERCITO GARE DI TIRO’, signed below ‘MISTRUZZI’ (for the great sculptor and medallist Aurelio Mistruzzi, 1880-1960); on a ribbon in the Italian national colours.
The Medal was produced in 1933 to be awarded at national shooting range military competitions.
